Interior painting

Painting and decorating for Erkelenz
Colour is not a value on a screen, it is material on your wall. We narrow the shade down with you, brush it out as a test coat in your own room and decide only then. After that comes masking, filling, priming and coating.

The colour wall Section 01
Tap a shade. The field beside it takes the colour at full size, because a shade on a fan deck and the same shade across twenty square metres are two different things.
The shortlist goes onto your wall, not into a catalogue. We look at the surface in the morning, at midday and under lamplight. Only then does anything get ordered.
Talk about the shadeThe shades on this wall are examples from our own work, not a manufacturer collection. Your shade is matched to your room.
Trades Section 02
Everything here comes from one firm. You do not coordinate handovers between trades, and wall, ceiling and facade all have the same contact.
Living rooms, hallways and stairwells, from the wall surface to the ceiling. Check the substrate, make good, prime, coat.
From smooth non woven paper to demanding patterns. Seams go where the light does not put them on show.
Several thin coats, each drawn in a different direction. The texture only appears when light runs flat across the surface.
Plaster protects the masonry and gives the surface its character. Rustic, smooth or finely felted, room by room.
Concrete, clinker, natural stone or render. We clean, coat and water repel the surface so that it sheds rain again.
Wallpaper, wall cladding, mosaic or stone. Walls decide how a room feels, not the furniture standing in it.
The job Section 03
Five steps that run the same way on every job, so you always know what happens next.
Three lines are enough: which room, roughly how much surface, by when. A photograph helps for a first impression.
We look at the surfaces, check the substrate and take measurements. That is where things show up that a photograph never shows.
The shortlist goes onto the wall. In parallel you receive a written quotation with every item spelled out.
Cover, mask, make good, prime, coat. By the evening the room is swept clean and the routes are clear.
We walk the surfaces together, in daylight and in raking light. Anything that is not right is put right.
Completed Section 04
Our own photographs, with no retouching of the surfaces. One click shows each one at full size.
Enquiry Section 05
The room, a rough area and your timeframe are enough. We call you back, clear up the open points and suggest a visit in Erkelenz.

The firm Section 06
Owner of Farbenhaft24 Raumgestaltung, Hückelhoven
Since 2012 I have been carrying out building projects, from a single room to a complete renovation. I learned the techniques from my father, who spent his working life on building sites. Drywall, floor coverings, wallpaper, wall cladding, painting and plastering therefore all sit inside the same firm. In Erkelenz we are on the road regularly, in the town and in its villages alike.
The area Section 07
Erkelenz sits in Kreis Heinsberg and our firm is based next door in Hückelhoven. Short distances mean we come over to look, and come back once more for any snagging.
Regularly working in Gerderath, Golkrath, Granterath, Hetzerath, Holzweiler, Katzem, Keyenberg, Kückhoven, Lövenich, Oestrich, Schwanenberg and Venrath. If your village is not listed, simply call.
Asked often Section 08
Short answers to the questions that come up most often on the phone.
Interior painting in living rooms, hallways and stairwells, ceilings, wallpaper and paste work, glazes and trowelled finishes, interior and exterior plaster, and facade coating including cleaning and water repellent treatment. Drywall, floor coverings and wall cladding come from the same firm.
Not on a fan deck. A shade changes with the size of the surface, with the direction the window faces and with the light in the evening. We narrow it down in conversation, brush the shortlist out as a test coat on your wall and look at it at several times of day.
No. We move furniture together and cover it, floors are sheeted and edges are masked. Anything that cannot be moved is boxed in. In the evening the room is still usable.
The substrate decides that, not the area alone. A sound wall that is simply recoated is a different job from a surface that has to be filled, made good and primed. After the visit you receive a written quotation with every item spelled out.
That depends on the preparation and on the drying time between coats. At the visit we tell you how many working days to expect and which rooms are occupied when.
Yes. Exterior surfaces of concrete, clinker, natural stone or render are cleaned, coated and treated to repel water. Algae and moss, flaking and discolouration are inspected first, so that the coating does not sit on a substrate that cannot carry it.
